We are all living in a masquerade ball.
Every morning before leaving the house, we look into the mirror and put on the best mask to cover our flaws and our weaknesses.
As individuals, we select the best disguise to conceal the monster within us.
Unconsciously we remind ourselves daily "These layers of masks is to be worn at all times to avoid being judge, to avoid people staring at these disfigured imperfections and to protect oneself.""
If you say that you do not wear a mask, maybe your mask is not as thick as some, but none of us live without a mask.
We are not as authentic as we like to think we are. The masks we put on, will eventually fall off. Yet the longer we live with the mask, the longer we feel comfortable having it around.
The seemingly so-called mask that are suppose to protect our fragile soul will someday turn against us and demand a refund.
Then, how do we live without the mask?
